Unannounced Intel Core i9-10850K and Celeron CPUs appear at web shops
Some unannounced Intel CPUs have appeared at various web shops. These are an alleged Core i9-10850K and two new Celeron CPUs. The new chips mainly appear to have different clock speeds than current chips in Intel’s line-up.
The Intel Core i9-10850K has now appeared at various web shops, VideoCardz writes. The CPU, which is said to have 10 core and 20 threads, is available from Digital Storm in a desktop PC for $ 42 less than the 10900K. The 10850K only seems to have slightly slower clock speeds than the more expensive model. The new chip would be clocked at 3.6GHz, while the 10900K is 3.7GHz. Nothing is mentioned about a turbo frequency, although according to previous rumors it would be around 5.17GHz. The CPU has also surfaced at a German webshop for 472.76 euros. This webshop indicates a delivery time of two to four weeks. A British webshop offers the chip for the equivalent of 505.20 euros.
The Celeron G5925 and G5905 have also not yet been announced, but appeared at the same British webshop, Twitter user reports momomo_us. These are new chips based on Comet Lake-S at 14nm. They seem to be improved versions of the current G5920 and G5900, with slightly higher clock speeds. The CPUs have 2 cores and threads. Also, the amount of l3 cache appears to have doubled to 4MB in the alleged new models. The tdp of the current Comet Lake Celeron CPUs is 58W, but it is not clear whether this is also the case with the new chips. For the Celeron G5905 and G5925, the store asks at the time of writing converted 56.20 and 68.41 euros respectively.
