Ultimaker has announced two new 3d printers at CES. The Ultimaker2 Extended makes it possible to print larger objects, while the Ultimaker2 Go with its compact size is intended for printing smaller objects.

The Ultimaker2 Go is described by the European manufacturer as a 3d printer for entry-level users. Ultimaker has not yet released many details, but the company promises that the control of the printer has been kept as simple as possible. Due to its compact dimensions, the Ultimaker2 Go does not have a heated bed. The entry-level 3D printer can be ordered from March and will have a price tag of 1195 euros excluding VAT.

As a second model, Ultimaker introduces the Ultimaker2 Extended. This 3d printer can print objects with a height of up to 25cm. The manufacturer also states that it is one of the fastest 3D printers with a speed of 300mm/s. The resolution is 0.02mm. The Ultimaker2 Extended costs 2495 euros excluding VAT and will also be available to order from March.
