‘Ubuntu version Meizu MX4 will be released in Europe later this month’

The Chinese hardware manufacturer Meizu is said to release the Ubuntu version of the Meizu MX4 in Europe in mid-June. This makes the converted Android phone the second smartphone with Ubuntu to be released in Europe.

The phone will be sold in a limited edition on an invitation-only basis. Initially, you can only get an invite by going to the Meizu website and searching for an invite in an ‘interactive origami wall’. There would be several hundred invitations available per day.
