Ubisoft will release f2p game Trackmania on Xbox and PlayStation on May 15
Racing game Trackmania will be released on May 15 for consoles. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5, and the Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. In addition, the game will appear on Amazon Luna. The Ubisoft game has been playable on PC since 2020.
The game gets crossplay and crossprogression and Ubisoft says that the console versions also have access to the circuits created by community members. Ubisoft says there are currently well over a thousand tracks. Incidentally, the free version does not offer access to all tracks, but only to a selection of changing circuits. Players can make your own circuits. Those who want full access to all circuits must pay ten euros per year for Standard Access. With the $30 Club subscription, players can customize their car and unite with other players through Clubs.
Ubisoft previously promised that there will be no content differences between the different platforms. Trackmania is a remake of Trackmania Nations, a game released in 2006 by Ubisoft Nadeo. The publisher had already indicated that it was working on a console port, but had not yet shared a concrete release date, besides “early 2023”.
