Ubisoft is said to be planning to release the new addition to the Assassin’s Creed series on October 27. The release date was revealed in a gaming magazine, but the official announcement is expected next week at E3.

The October 27 date is mentioned in Game Informer magazine, which also included a series of photos of the game. Images of the magazine containing the information about the new game have been put online by readers. It was already known that Ubisoft would release Assassin’s Creed Origins this year, but the publisher has not yet announced an exact date.

Also, the photos from Game Informer that Assassin’s Creed Origins confirm that the game is set in Egypt, something that was previously mentioned in rumors. It is probably the time of Cleopatra. There would also be multiple playable characters, a new combat system would be designed and a day-and-night cycle built in.

Ubisoft is likely to announce Assassin’s Creed Origins on Monday, on the eve of the E3 trade show. The company will then hold a press conference.
