Ubisoft Releases Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Remaster For PS4 And Xbox One

Ubisoft has released the remaster of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There are no special versions for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is available as part of the Season Pass for Far Cry 6, but will also be sold separately.

Ubisoft had not announced a concrete release date for the Classic Edition in advance. This remaster of the PS3 and Xbox 360 game runs at 30fps, even when played on a current-gen console. The game description promises in addition to improved graphics also ‘updated gameplay’, but it is not explained exactly what this means.

The single edition of Blood Dragon: Classic Edition is for sale for 15 euros. The Far Cry 6-Season Pass costs 40 euros and, in addition to Blood Dragon, also contains three DLC packs based on the villains of previous Far Cry games.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a standalone adventure that uses the Far Cry 3 engine. The first-person shooter is set in a dystopian, ‘retro-futuristic’ world. Players control a cyborg, who must defeat his old commander and henchmen.
