Ubisoft: Prince of Persia remake development passes major milestone

Ubisoft reconfirms that the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake is still in development and that development has passed a “major internal milestone.” There has been uncertainty for a long time about the remake announced in 2020.

According to the developer development of the game is progressing and an unspecified milestone has been passed. The last official communication surrounding the game took place in May, when it became apparent that the game was still in a very early stage of development despite the announcement in 2020. Then a producer emphasized that no more information would be shared this year.

The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake does not yet have an official release date, after the game was postponed indefinitely. At the end of 2022, pre-orders for the game were even refunded, which according to the developer was done because the game did not yet have a release date.
