The multiplayer mode release of the Windows version of Watch Dogs: Legion has been delayed again. The development team has discovered a bug that causes crashes when using ‘certain video cards’. The mode was supposed to come on March 9th and will not get a new release date.

More information about the bug and why no new date is given, gives Ubisoft not. It’s not the first time the multiplayer mode for the third-person shooter has been delayed: at the time of the game’s release in October last year, Ubisoft still kept December as the release date for the online element.

The release of the mode on consoles is still going on, although there are some caveats. There is a bug that can cause crashes in the tactical, causing Ubisoft to omit that mode on consoles and Google Stadia until March 23. Furthermore, PlayStation consoles will initially only have ‘limited text chat’, which should also be straightened out by March 23.

Watch Dogs: Legion is the third game in the franchise. The game has a third-person perspective and the story revolves around hacker group DedSec. They have to save a fictional, futuristic and dystopian London from the grip of Albion, a private military company, who wants to turn the city into a police state. The game’s multiplayer will feature co-op content, as well as pvp content for teams of up to eight people.
