Ubisoft+ gaming subscription is available on Xbox One and Series consoles

Ubisoft has released game subscription Ubisoft+ for Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles. The service will have more than sixty titles; slightly less than can be played on PC. To use the subscription on Xbox consoles, the more expensive Multi Access subscription is required.

To use the Ubisoft+ service, users must have a Ubisoft+ Multi Access subscription and link that subscription to their Xbox profile, writes Xbox. Multi Access is the more expensive version of Ubisoft+, which costs 18 euros per month and, in addition to Xbox, also gives access to games on Amazon’s Luna streaming service. There is also a PC Access subscription that only provides access to PC games and therefore cannot be used on consoles, for 15 euros per month.

The service includes a mix of relatively new titles such as Anno 1800, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6, and older games such as the Ezio collection of Assassin’s Creed titles, Far Cry 3, South Park: The Stick of Truth, The Crew, The Division and Watch Dogs. Ubisoft wants to expand the subscription in the future and is talking about unreleased games such as Skull & Bones and The Crew Motorfest. Subscribers also get access to DLC and a ten percent discount on in-game coins.

Ubisoft announced in January last year that it would bring the subscription to Xbox. The subscription should also be able to be played on PlayStation consoles later, where some of the games can already be used via PlayStation Plus Extra. Ubisoft+ allows users to download and play games; so it is not a game streaming service.
