Ubisoft confirms separate Assassin’s Creed game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
Ubisoft comes with a new Assassin’s Creed game especially for the previous generation of consoles. Yves Guillemot, director of Ubisoft, stated this during a telephone conversation with investors. In doing so, he confirms rumors that two separate AC games are coming.
Guillemot only lets go in the phone call that there will be a separate Assassin’s Creed game for the previous generation of consoles, not when it will appear and what the title is. The new game will not only be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but also for Windows. The director’s statements correspond to earlier rumors that two games in the series will be released soon. Ubisoft previously announced that it is working on Assassin’s Creed Unity, a game that will be released later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows.
The game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is rumored to be called Assassin’s Creed: Comet. The game is said to be a sequel to 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and 2012’s Assassin’s Creed III, set in North and Central America. Assassin’s Creed Unity is set in Paris during the French Revolution. Unity is made by ten different studios, according to Ubisoft, led by Ubisoft Montreal. It was announced in March after a number of screenshots were leaked.
