Ubisoft announces minimum system requirements for Watch Dogs

Ubisoft Montreal has announced the minimum system requirements for the PC version of Watch Dogs. Creative Director Jonathan Morin published the system requirements via Twitter in response to questions from fans; the recommended system requirements are not yet known.

In order to play the game you must: minimal a quad-core processor is present in the system, specifically it concerns at least an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 at 2.66GHz or an AMD Phenom II X4 940 at 3GHz. The video card must also support at least DirectX 11 and Shader Model 5.0 and have 1GB of video memory on board. In addition, the system must have 6GB of RAM and 25GB of free storage space.

Watch Dogs is the new open-world action game from Ubisoft and is set in a futuristic Chicago, where the infrastructure of the city is completely controlled by a computer. In the game you take on the role of hacker Aiden Pearce. The game was supposed to be released on November 21, 2013, but this was not achieved and the game is now scheduled for May 27. The game comes out on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows.
