Ubisoft has announced its roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. After the release of the game, two episodic extensions for season pass owners will follow. There will also be a 4k remaster from Assassin’s Creed 3.

The first extension for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will appear in December under the name Legacy of the First Blade. Every six weeks a new episode appears, revolving around a hidden dagger and players learning about the history of the Assassins. In the spring of next year, the second expansion, The Fate of Atlantis, will be released. This storyline concentrates on, as the name implies, the lost city of Atlantis.

The remaster of Assassin’s Creed 3 will be released in March 2019 and will be part of the season pass but will also be sold separately. The remaster offers 4k view and hdr on the PS4 Pro, Xbox One and PC and is made with a new graphics engine. Assassin’s Creed 3 appeared in 2012, had Connor Kenway as the main character, and played out during the American War of Independence. The remaster contains the extensions Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack and Tyranny or King George.

There are also expansions for players without a season pass, promises Ubisoft. This is how The Lost Tales of Greece questlines appear and in-game events. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available on October 5, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
