Twitter lets users schedule tweets in test
Twitter has started a test where users of the web version can schedule tweets. Until now, this was only possible with Tweetdeck and other clients, but not yet via an interface from Twitter itself.
This is an experiment with a limited number of users, reports Tweetdeck, part of Twitter. The feature has been available in Tweetdeck for years, as well as in third-party clients like Hootsuite. The function is not available on the web and in apps from Twitter itself.
Users in the test get an interface element with three dots next to icons for inserting a picture, gif, poll or emoji. There it says ‘schedule tweet’, after which users can insert a date and time. The function is useful, among other things, for users who pass a message bericht are allowed or willing to publish at a certain time.
