Twitter gets Bookmarks feature
Twitter is making a Bookmarks feature available to users who want to save messages for later viewing, forwarding or commenting. Only the user sees what is in their list of saved tweets.
Until now, users who wanted to mark tweets to review them later had to use detours, such as the like button, but immediately Twitter is making a Bookmark function available for its iOS and Android apps. The bookmark function will also be available via mobile.twitter and Twitter Light.
To bookmark posts, users can click a new share icon and select ‘Add Tweet to Bookmarks’. The list of marked tweets can then be consulted via the menu at the profile. Bookmarks can only be viewed by the user and can also be shared or deleted. According to Twitter, Bookmarks was a highly requested feature.
Tweets can also be sent directly via the new share menu as a Direct Message and via e-mail or text message.
