Twitter adjusts profile view
Twitter is going to adjust the profile pages of its users, so that by default only messages are shown that are not addressed to anyone else. An option is also built in to show the conversations.
According to the social networking site to get profiles of verified users are the first to receive the new profiles. Those who visit the pages of these user profiles can disable the display of replies, messages that start with an @ username. With the new option, Twitter wants to increase the readability of tweets on profile pages; often users are not interested in messages that are meant to reply to someone else.
According to Twitter, the revamped profile pages will roll out in the coming weeks. All verified accounts should then be able to access the functionality. When the option will become available to regular users, the social networking site has not disclosed.
