Twitter adjusts profile display
Twitter is going to adjust the profile pages of its users, so that by default only messages that are not addressed to another person will be shown. An option is also built in to show the conversations.
According to the social networking site to get profiles of verified users will be the first to have access to the new profiles. Those who visit the pages of these user profiles can disable the display of replies, messages that start with an @ username. With the new option, Twitter wants to increase the readability of tweets on profile pages; often users are not interested in messages that are intended as a reply to someone else.
According to Twitter, the updated profile pages will be rolled out in the coming weeks. All verified accounts should then have access to the functionality. When the option becomes available to regular users, the social networking site has not announced.
