Twitter announces a new video feature that will make the social media platform more like TikTok. Videos on Twitter can be made full screen with one touch, after which it is possible to scroll vertically through multiple videos.

It was already possible to watch videos in full screen in the Twitter app, but now it is possible to view even more videos in the feed by swiping down. This is very similar to TikTok’s video feeds. To go back to the original tweet, the Back button in the top left corner can be used.

According to Twitter should make it easier to discover videos. In addition, the company is adding a new video carousel to the Explore tab. The ‘Videos for you’ section should show the most shared videos on Twitter at the moment.

The feature will be available in the “coming days” to iOS users who have set their language settings to English. It is not known when the feature will also be available for Android users. Twitter also does not mention a date for the arrival of the feature to language settings other than English.
