Twitter adds camera that can be reached with a swipe from timelinelijn
Twitter has added a feature to its app where a camera interface is accessible with a single swipe from the timeline. Other social media apps have had such a feature for some time. The feature should be available in the coming weeks.
A swipe to the right on the timeline opens a new camera interface, where users can instantly take a photo or video, explains Twitter. In the timeline, photos taken in this way have a different layout, with the tweet in the photo. Twitter won’t prioritize them if users have an algorithmic timeline.
It is only possible to create new images with the new interface; already taken photos and videos can only be added via the already existing window to create tweets. It is also possible to stream live images via the interface.
In addition, the beta application of Twitter, under the name Twttr, was released this week. That is a reference to the first name of the social network, still without vowels. That interface, according to Techcrunch, includes a more chat app-like interface for tweets and a different way of showing responses to tweets.
