Twitch is experiencing major outage – update

Streaming service Twitch is experiencing a major outage. The service will let you know on its own status page. It is unknown what is going on, how long it can last and whether all users are affected.

According to AllDisturbances the reports began after seven o’clock on Tuesday evening. The Twitch status page mentions a major outage on many of the service’s features. Chat and purchases work according to the service, but logging in, the web interface, streaming and watching streams, among other things, would work poorly. Twitch says they are working on a solution. It’s unclear how long that could take.

Update, 21:04: The error appears to be resolved.
