Twitch allows streamers to share lists of banned users
Twitch has rolled out the Shared Ban Info feature. This allows streamers to share with each other which users they ban from their channels. According to Twitch, the feature should stop users who are regularly guilty of “harassment and harassment.”
In order to share a list of banned users with another streamer, the list creator must send a request to the other from the Shared Ban Info section in the moderation settings. The streamer must agree to share their own ban list in order to see someone else’s list. Currently it is possible to share the ban list with up to thirty people, writes Twitch. Sharing the ban list can always be canceled by one of the parties.
Streamers can set what they want to do with highlighted accounts in the list by default. These can be monitored. This means they can post chat messages that are visible to all users, but all their messages will be marked for moderation by default. There is also an option to set restrictions for flagged users. Their chat messages are only visible to the streamer and the moderators.
