Turtle Rock Reveals Evolve . System Requirements
Game studio Turtle Rock has released an overview of the system requirements of Evolve. The game requires at least a Core 2 Duo E6600 or an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400, supplemented by an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or an AMD Radeon HD 5570.
The required and recommended specifications are posted on the game’s site. This makes it clear that 4GB of RAM is required and the video cards must have 1GB of memory. The game also requires a 64-bit system that runs on Windows 7 and has 50GB of storage memory left.
Turtle Rock Studios recommends using an Intel Core i7-920 or an AMD A8-3870K in combination with 6GB of RAM. A GeForce GTX 670 or a 760 is recommended, but the Radeon R9 280 also meets the higher standards. The memory of the video card is also increased to 2GB in the recommended system requirements. The minimum storage memory of 50GB does not change.
Evolve goes into open beta for Xbox One on January 17. Gamers playing on the PlayStation 4 or PC can take part in a lean test, in which the recently announced game mode Evacuation is not yet playable. The release of Evolve is scheduled for February 10. Turtle Rock reports that currently it can already play in a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, but on the other hand, the sli technology is not yet supported. It is unclear whether that will be the case at release.
