TSMC reports revenue increase of 36 percent in first quarter

Taiwanese chip maker TSMC has announced in the run-up to the full quarterly figures release of April 14 that first-quarter sales have increased by 35.5 percent compared to a year earlier.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company reports March sales totaled $5.95 billion. For the period from January to March, that is about 17 billion dollars.
