Bandai Namco announces Park Beyond for consoles and PC. The amusement park game is made by Limbic Entertainment, the German developer behind Tropico 6. Players can build ‘impossible attractions’ in the game.

According to publisher Bandai Namco, Park Beyond is “a brand new take” on the theme park management game genre. The game will feature modules that allow players to create ‘thousands of combinations’ to create unique attractions.

The makers talk about impossification. By this they mean the possibility of making ‘impossible’ attractions. In a cinematic trailer, all kinds of bizarre creations are shown, but the makers do not yet show gameplay.

Park Beyond will have a story mode with “colorful characters, allies and enemies,” according to developer Limbic Entertainment and publisher Bandai Namco. The game will be released next year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. A release date has not yet been announced.

The imaginative amusement park game is made by Limbic Entertainment. That is the developer of the Tropico 6, which was released in 2019. It is the only game from the Tropico series made by the German studio. The studio also made a number of Might & Magic games.
