Tropical adventure game Tchia for PlayStation and PC has been delayed until 2023

Indie game Tchia has been postponed to early 2023. The tropical adventure game is due to be released in the spring of this year, but the team needs extra time to complete the game. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 and PC.

The makers describe Tchia as a ‘laws-based adventure game’, set in an area for which New Caledonia was the source of inspiration. The culture of the Pacific archipelago is also part of the game.

Tchia was announced at The Game Awards last December. At the time, there was still talk of a release in the spring of 2022. That will now be early 2023, writes developer Awaceb† The news of the postponement is accompanied by the release of a new trailer.

The official website states that the PC version to the Epic Games Store coming. However, there is also a steam page of the game. It is not yet known whether the game will be available on Valve’s game platform immediately upon release.
