Trial version Windows 11 includes gallery mode for Windows Explorer
Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23435. This build includes a gallery mode for Windows Explorer that makes it easier to view photos and images residing on a PC. The feature is not yet being rolled out to all test users.
According to Microsoft Gallery mode in Windows Explorer will list all the photos and images on a computer, just like it can in the Photos app, through the “All Photos” view option. Users can also add collections of photos or folders to gallery mode. According to the American company, the mode will also be searchable via the file selector.
The feature is currently in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23435, which is being distributed through the Windows Dev Channel. Microsoft writes that the gallery mode will not be rolled out to all Windows Insiders yet because the company wants to wait for feedback first. It is not clear whether the feature will be included in the stable version of Windows 11.
