Tri-Ace Developer Announces End of Eternity RPG

Developer tri-Ace has announced the role-playing game End of Eternity. Unlike tri-Ace’s previous games, it is not marketed by Square-Enix, but by Sega. The European release date is still unknown.

In the Japanese magazine Famitsu a new game from the also Japanese developer tri-Ace turned up. The game, called End of Eternity, will be an RPG that will appear for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Sega will market the game. In Japan it will be at the end of this year to appear, but when it will be for sale in Europe is unknown. The deal with Sega marks a break with Square-Enix, which released tri-Ace’s previous games: the RPGs Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean.

End of Eternity is set in the colossal machine city of Burzel. Three main protagonists have been identified so far: Vashyron, a 26-year-old former soldier who works for a private military organization; 17-year-old Zephyr, who has been hired by Vashyron to work for him, and a girl known only as Experiment 20, a name that makes it clear that she will die in her 20s.
