Treyarch Releases Patches for Call of Duty: Black Ops III
Developer Treyarch has released two patches for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III in quick succession. The strength of some weapons has been adjusted on all platforms and the PC version has been given an update to improve performance.
The patch for the PC version appeared on Steam and is 520MB in size. Treyarch has not released extensive release notes, but a very short announcement made it clear that it is an update that should improve performance. However, it doesn’t look like the patch has fixed performance issues and crashes for all players. In the comments, many users complain that the update does not help.
Treyarch has also released a patch for all platforms that changes the strength of a number of weapons. These changes have not been announced in a big way either, but on Reddit the developer tells us which weapons are involved. According to the message, in most cases these are very minor changes and adjustments have been made in terms of clip size, damage and recoil. Since it’s a quick hotfix, the full patch notes will be available later when a larger update comes out.
