Translation service DeepL releases apps for Windows and macOS
The German DeepL comes with an application for its translation service. A beta of the program is available for Windows and macOS. The translator has been around since 2017 and until now it was only available via the browser.
The DeepL application runs in the background. When users select text and press Control + C or ⌘ + C twice, a window with the translation will appear. Furthermore, the software offers the same functionality as the web version.
Translation service DeepL has been available since 2017. The German company then claimed to offer a better translation service than Google and Bing, thanks to improved deep learning algorithms. DeepL supports fewer languages than competing services, but many European languages are supported.
