TransIP changes web hosting packages and increases prices by thirty percent

TransIP raises the prices of its hosting packages to more than thirty percent. The packages are also changed in content; from now on, three web hosting packages and two e-mail packages are available. The changes will take effect on July 15.

TransIP has informed customers of the changes by e-mail. The company has always had an S, L and XL pack, but the packs are changing. Customers will soon be able to choose between a Core package with five email addresses and 10GB of storage, a Pro package with 100 email addresses and 100GB of storage, and a Max package with unlimited email addresses and 250GB of storage. These cost respectively 7.25 euros, 12.09 euros and 24.19 euros per month.

The e-mail-only packages are also being adjusted. The Core package has three email addresses and 5GB of storage; the Pro package has five addresses and 10GB of storage. Those packages cost 4.83 euros and 6.04 euros per month.

The new changes will take effect on July 15. Customers are automatically transferred to a new plan if they do nothing, but they can also manually change or cancel it themselves. New customers should already opt for one of the new packages.
