Tranquil PC, a British manufacturer that last made a statement in the PC field in 2013, has announced passively cooled PCs equipped with embedded AMD Ryzen chips. The cheapest model costs about 760 euros.

On the site of Tranquil PC, which was acquired by the French 2CRSi in April, there are three different models that the manufacturer refers to as ‘mini PCs suitable for multiple 4k screens’. The base model runs on a V1202B chip from AMD, which the company released early this year along with other variants. That chip has two cores with four threads and runs at a base clock frequency of 2.3GHz with a turbo to 3.2GHz. There is also an unnamed Vega GPU present. The configuration of Tranquil PC also consists of 8GB DDR4-2400 memory and 250GB storage with an m2 SSD.

There are also two more powerful models, both with a V1605B quadcore at 2GHz and a turbo at 3.6GHz. The first model has 16GB of RAM and 250GB of storage and the second has double the amount of memory and four times the storage, also with an m2 SSD. All models have four DisplayPort connections, in addition to two Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 connections. There is also a USB 3.1 type-c connection, in addition to WiFi-ac and Bluetooth. In all cases, the warranty period is three years. The weight of the PCs is 1,8kg with dimensions of 157x180x54mm.

The cheapest version costs 762.11 euros, the version with 16GB memory costs 879.10 euros and the one with 32GB ram costs 1295.81 euros. The British maker expects to be able to ship the first shipment of devices on August 30.
