Creative Assembly unveils all new content to be released in 2022 for Total War: Warhammer III in a roadmap. Initially, many bug fixes are planned and the Immortal Empires campaign will be released as a beta in the third quarter.

Update 1.2 is scheduled for May and should fix a lot of bugs that occur during battle, so let Creative Assembly know. In addition, the techtree will be overturned and units must respond better to commands. Due to the many changes, the developer announces that the online leaderboards will be reset. The first free DLC will also be released in May, Regiments of Renown I. This is an addition of some upgraded units to all base races. Previously, Creative Assembly released these packs as part of paid DLCs, but now promises to release the first few Regiments of Renown packs for free.

In the third quarter of 2022, Total War: Warhammer III will receive another major update, consisting of a second free Regiments of Renown pack. In addition, the developer tackles the skill tree and battles must take place more often during a campaign. This update also marks the release of modding tools, the Total War Assembly Kit, to facilitate the creation of mods for all Total War: Warhammer games.

Creative Assembly plans to jump to update 2.0 in that same quarter. This update introduces the beta version of the free Immortal Empires mode, a campaign that brings together all races, factions and units from all three Total War: Warhammer games. Presumably, as with the Mortal Empires campaign for Warhammer II, players will need to have all Total War: Warhammer games in their Steam library to access them.

The developer promises to keep updating the Immortal Empires mode “in the coming years” and says it will provide more information later. The release of this update also includes the first paid DLC for Total War: Warhammer III.

In the last quarter of 2022, Creative Assembly has only announced a third Regiments of Renown package for the time being. Further content will be announced at a later date.
