Total War: Warhammer III will be released on February 17, 2022
The strategy game Total War: Warhammer III will be released on February 17, 2022. In addition to the release date, SEGA also reports that the game will be available through Xbox Game Pass for PC from that date.
Total War: Warhammer III’s faq page states that the game will be released first on PC. After that, it should come to Linux and macOS “as soon as possible.” Feral Interactive will develop the Linux and macOS versions of the strategy game. The British developer has been working on macOS ports of other Total War games, such as Rome 2 and Three Kingdoms.
The Game Pass version of Warhammer III is the full version of the game, which will also receive future free DLC. Furthermore, the new faction Ogre Kingdoms has been announced as a pre-order bonus or for players who buy the game in the week after the release date. Xbox Game Pass subscribers, who get Total War: Warhammer III for free as part of their subscription, can purchase the faction separately. The Ogre Kingdoms faction has its own campaign, two legendary lords, and unique units. No other DLC has been announced yet.
Total War: Warhammer III was originally scheduled to release this year, but the game was delayed until next year. However, no new release date was announced at that time. The game will be available on Windows, macOS and Linux. Total War: Warhammer III is a turn-based strategy game and a sequel to Total War: Warhammer 2, which was released in 2017. In single player mode, players move armies around the map and manage settlements. Players fight against factions, but can also make pacts with them. When the armies meet, they fight in real time. The game also has a multiplayer mode, where players can fight side by side or against each other.
