A tool has appeared that makes it possible to use download store Google Play Store on Windows 11. Windows 11 will receive support for Android apps, but officially it works through an integration with the Amazon App Store.

The tool is available as WSAGAScript on GitHub. The developer emphasizes that the tool is intended for functionality testing and not for everyday use. In addition, there is a chance that Microsoft will make the use of the Play Store impossible again in the future. The Windows 11 beta has support for Android app installation, but that works with the Amazon App Store by default. The Play Store cannot be used by default.

WSAGAScript initially required root access on the Windows Subsystem for Android to enable Play Store logins, but that is no longer the case. Users still need to uninstall the Windows Subsystem and replace it with one with Google services in it.
