Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 are getting a remaster for PC and consoles in September
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will be remastered. The two skate games will be bundled and released on September 4. The remasters are coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PC version will be released via the Epic Games Store.
Vicarious Visions, the studio that also created the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, is responsible for the remaster of the skate games. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 were released in 1999 and 2000 respectively. According to publisher Activision, the new versions have been radically modified and improved for current hardware. The game runs at 4k60fps on Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 Pro and PCs with compatible hardware.
The remasters feature the same levels, skaters, tricks and much of the music from the original games. There are also new additions, including online multiplayer. The skaters represented all have their own Special Moves. There are new moves in the remaster, which were not yet in the original game.
The remasters also get new opportunities to craft skaters and build skateparks. The creations that players make with Create-A-Park can be shared with friends online. The two games come as a bundle for $40. There will also be a deluxe version with digital extras for $50. The bundle will be on sale from September 4.
