Developer Emerald City Games will release Tomb Raider Reloaded in February. It is a roguelike for smartphones, which should be released on Android, iOS and Netflix. The game will be released on February 14 on those three platforms.

Emerald City Games and publisher CDE Entertainment, part of Tomb Raider owner Embracer Group, are reporting that Tomb Raider Reloaded out worldwide on February 14. The game will then appear on Android and iOS via the Play Store and Apple App Store. On the same date, the game will also be available via the game catalog of streaming service Netflix. Users can pre-register for the smartphone game from Wednesday.

In Tomb Raider Reloaded, players must search tombs, containing various enemies and traps. Since it is a roguelike, the rooms in the tomb change with every attempt. The game will have a top-down perspective, according to a trailer produced by CDE Entertainment. In the game, players collect permanent upgrades and XP points, which they can use on new attempts. Keeley Hawes, voice actress of Lara Croft in several Tomb Raider games, also returns for Reloaded.

The Tomb Raider franchise has been owned by Swedish game conglomerate Embracer Group since last year. In addition to Tomb Raider Reloaded, that company is currently also working on a larger game in the series. Development studio Crystal Dynamics, now also part of Embracer, is currently working on a Tomb Raider title with Unreal Engine 5. There is also little concrete information about that game. It is also not known when the game should appear.
