Tinder lets users add two-second videos to profile
Dating app Tinder is testing a feature to add two-second videos to a profile. In addition, the dating app is trying to let users add nine photos instead of six.
The short videos are called Loops, says Tinder. Users can upload a longer video and then cut out the desired two seconds. It appears instead of a photo in the user profile. Tinder plays the video over and over, a feature from which the Loop takes its name.
It is the first time that Tinder allows users to add motion pictures to the profile. In addition, there should be a function to expand the number of places for footage, photo or Loop, from six to nine.
Tinder is currently testing the new feature on iOS devices in Canada and Sweden. The company has not said when users in other countries will be able to start using the feature.
