Thrustmaster launches TMX Force Feedback racing wheel for Xbox One and Windows
Thrustmaster will release the TMX Force Feedback for Xbox One and Windows PCs in May. The set consists of a racing wheel with pedal set and has a suggested retail price of two hundred euros. The steering wheel can be expanded with an optional gear lever.
The racing wheel has a diameter of 28 cm and a turning angle that is adjustable from 270 to 900 degrees. The turning movements of the steering wheel are read optically with 12-bit precision, which allows 4096 different values. The steering wheel is rubberized and behind the steering wheel are two eight-inch-long metal paddle shifters. The strength of the force feedback is adjustable.
Furthermore, the TMX Force Feedback has the official buttons for the Xbox One. A total of twelve action buttons are present, along with a d-pad. The inclination angle of the pedals on the included pedal set is adjustable. According to Thrustmaster, the progressive resistance of the brake pedal provides a realistic pedal feel.
The steering wheel can also be used with the existing pedal sets T3PA and T3PA-Pro, and can be expanded with the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter. The TMX Force Feedback works in conjunction with the Xbox One and Windows PCs. There are drivers for Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10.
