Three new games and the Serious Sam collection are coming to Google Stadia
Google has announced five games that will be available through Stadia, including three new titles that will be the first to play on the streaming platform. The Serious Sam collection is also coming to Stadia.
The three ‘First on Stadia’ games are Stacks On Stacks (On Stacks), for building towers, the puzzle game Lost Words: Beyond the Page, set in a diary, and Splitlings, an arcade game for up to four players .
One of the other two games is a remake of Panzer Dragoon. Under this title of Sega, a series of rail shooter games came out in the 1990s. In December 2018, Sega announced that remakes of the first and second Panzer Dragoon titles would be released, with HD images. Google now reports that Panzer Dragoon: Remake is being made by MegaPixel Studio.
Finally, Stadia will receive the Serious Sam Collection, consisting of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, and Serious Sam 3: BFE, including The Legend of the Beast and the Jewel of the Nile expansions. It seems likely that the collection will also come to the PS4 and Xbox One: Gematsu already noted in 2018 that the collection had been age-approved for those consoles.
Google announced in January that more than 120 games are coming to Stadia this year. With this, the company hopes to meet the criticism that the game streaming platform offers too few titles.
