THQ moves Enter the Dominatrix content to Saints Row 4
Publisher THQ has announced that Enter the Dominatrix, an expansion pack for Saints Row: The Third, has been canceled. The content that would be in the package will be moved to Saints Row 4, which will be released next year.
The standalone expansion pack for free roaming action game Saints Row: The Third, due out this fall, is no longer in production. THQ President Jason Rubin made the announcement. According to Rubin, THQ and the development team agreed that if the team were given more time and the content was incorporated into an all-new game in the Saints Row series, there would be more to gain from the title. That game must then be released in calendar year 2013, according to a statement issued by THQ on Wednesday.
Enter the Dominatrix was announced by THQ on April 1, but not taken seriously at the time. A month later, the publisher announced that the standalone expansion, in which aliens put the leader of the Saints in a computer-simulated version of the city of Steelport, would be released.
