THQ is moving Enter the Dominatrix content to Saints Row 4
Publisher THQ has announced that Enter the Dominatrix, an expansion pack for Saints Row: The Third, has been canceled. The content that would be in the pack will be carried over to Saints Row 4, which will be released next year.
The standalone expansion pack for free roaming action game Saints Row: The Third, which was set to release this fall, is no longer in production. THQ president Jason Rubin announced this. According to Rubin, THQ and the development team agreed that there was more to get out of the title if the team were given more time and the content was incorporated into a completely new game in the Saints Row series. That game must then appear in calendar year 2013, so fall read in a statement issued by THQ on Wednesday.
Enter the Dominatrix was announced by THQ on April 1, but not at the time serious taken. A month later, the publisher announced that the stand-alone expansion, in which aliens put the leader of the Saints in a computer-simulated version of the city of Steelport, would indeed appear.
