HTC today presented the HTC U12 +, the latest flagship of the device manufacturer. The U12 + is the largest and toughest smartphone it has ever released and features a colorful 6-inch screen with a cinematic 18: 9 widescreen. The device is easier to use thanks to Edge Sense 2 for intuitive interaction with one hand, for example, to take pictures, activate the voice assistant or whatever you want it to do. Edge Sense 2
A new touch feedback experience turns the edges of the U12 + into the simplest and most intuitive way to use your phone. The new Edge Sense knows which hand you use, so you can always squeeze the sides of the device, tap it twice or hold it and shoot photos and videos, zoom in on a map, navigate the screen or whatever action you take also connects to it.
Dual camera
It contains one of the top-rated dual cameras: two cameras, front, and rear offer beautiful artistic photos with DSLR-like bokeh. UltraSpeed Autofocus 2 ensures that you do not miss a moment, while HDR Boost 2 ensures that you can take the best pictures under any light condition.
The main cameras have 2x optical and 10x digital zoom, so you can always capture the perfect close-up. Sonic Zoom allows you to zoom in on any particular sound or voice in every video so that you are truly the director of the scene. And with one-touch car zoom, it almost seems like you have Hollywood in your pocket. It works so well that the U12 + received a DxOMark score of 103, making it one of the highest scoring dual smartphone cameras in the industry.
Liquid Surface
The U12 + has a very artistic design with ultra-thin edges and new pressure-sensitive buttons embedded in a unique, changing color palette. The color version ‘Translucent Blue’ makes you enjoy both the inside and the outside of your phone, while ‘Ceramic Black’ ensures a very modern look. ‘Flame Red’ guarantees exceptional changes in color tones in the most dynamic look that HTC has ever designed.
Strength and performance
Also available is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with X20 LTE. With standard 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage memory, the U12 + has enough power for the performance you expect from the smartphone. The U12 + is also VR ready for the Vive Focus (where available) with telephone and notification sync, plus mirror mode to turn your smartphone into a personal VR theater.

The HTC U12 + is expected to be available in Europe in June 2018 in the colors Translucent Blue, Ceramic Black and Flame Red with a suggested retail price of € 799, -.
