Thermaltake presents m-atx enclosure S100 with tempered glass side panel
Thermaltake adds the S100 to its range. The m-atx housing resembles the S300 and S500, but is a smaller variant. The housing has a volume of about 40 liters and a side panel made of tempered glass.
Thermaltake comes with a black version of the S100 and a white Snow Edition. The housing has dimensions of 44x22x41cm and is suitable for micro-atx and mini-itx motherboards. The steel case weighs 6.1 kg including the glass side panel. At the top is a mesh panel with dust filter.
GPUs of 330mm long fit in the case, the CPU cooler must not be higher than 165mm and the power supply must be shorter than 160mm. Inside is room for two 3.5″ drives and two 2.5″ drives. The I/O panel at the top has a USB 3.0 connection, two USB 2.0 ports and audio connections.
Two fans of 140mm or 120mm can be mounted at the front and at the back there is room for a 120mm fan. Thermaltake supplies the latter fan as standard. A 200mm radiator can be placed at the top, or two 140mm or 120mm fans.
When the Thermaltake S100 case will be released and what the case will cost is not yet known. The larger S300 version has already been for sale for about sixty euros. The smaller S100 variant is believed to have a similar or lower price point.
