There would be little demand for Samsung smartphones and it shows in prices
According to a recent article, Samsung would have to deal with much less demand for its midrange smartphones than anticipated. As a result, there would be 50 million unsold smartphones in warehouses. This development can be seen in the price development of midrange models.
Much of that stock of 50 million unsold smartphones is Galaxy A models, claims The Elec based on own sources within the company. In addition, Samsung is said to have cut supplier orders by 30 to 70 percent between April and May and is said to be producing 10 to 20 percent fewer smartphones.
