Developer CD Projekt Red announced via Facebook that a final update will be released for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It adds a New Game+ mode to the game. Details about the game form are not yet disclosed by the studio. It is also unknown when he will appear.

On the game’s Facebook page, the Polish CD Projekt Red shows a screenshot of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt showing that the new game form New Game+ can be started. In the accompanying text, the studio makes it clear that the game format is aimed at players who have already played through the campaign. The studio won’t reveal what New Game+ has to offer players, but typically NG+ means players can replay the campaign while retaining all of the items and abilities they acquired during their first run.

The new game format is part of a free update for the RPG, the latest the studio has planned. It is not known when the update will appear, although it is no longer expected this week, according to the makers. In previous updates, the Polish studio made significant changes to the RPG. For example, main character Geralt’s controls were adjusted after complaints from players that they found him moving awkwardly. CD Projekt Red is still working on two paid expansions for the game. The dlc pack Hearts of Stone adds about 10 hours of gameplay to the game, with successor Blood and Wine, players are even sweet for about 20 hours.
