The Evil Within developer releases rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush
Tango Gameworks released Hi-Fi Rush. It is a rhythm action game created by the studio behind The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo. The game is available for Xbox Series consoles and PC.
Hi-Fi Rush is an action game where the whole world moves to the beat, developer Tango Gameworks announces during the Xbox Developer_Direct presentation. Players play as wannabe rock star Chai against a sinister robot conglomerate. The battles in the game follow the rhythm of the soundtrack. Attacks are performed automatically on the beat, although players who press the attack button on the exact beat can unleash more powerful beat hits at the end of a combo. The soundtrack includes licensed music from bands such as The Black Keys and Nine Inch Nails.
The game is being made by Tango Gameworks, the studio that previously worked on horror game The Evil Within and action game Ghostwire: Tokyo. The studio announced Hi-Fi Rush on Wednesday night during the Xbox Developer_Direct presentation. The game came out right after the presentation. Hi-Fi Rush is available for PC and the Xbox Series X and S. The game will also be part of Game Pass.
