The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth † is launch game for Nintendo Switch
Nicalis has announced that it is releasing The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth with the Afterbirth and Afterbirth † expansion packs for Nintendo Switch. That happens on the date the console is released on the market.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth † has a suggested retail price of $39.99 in the United States and will be released on March 3, when the Switch will also be available. The game includes the original version of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and both expansions: Afterbirth and Afterbirth †. Rebirth has been available since 2014 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, 3DS, Xbox One and recently also iOS. The expansions were released later.
In the game, the player controls a two-dimensional figure named Isaac, who roams dungeons and defeats enemies with tears that serve as projectiles. In the game, the player has only one life. If he dies, the game starts again. The first part of the game has been in the news as several platforms refused to accept the game due to “dubious religious content” and “child violence”.
