Uber is now well established, but what would it be like to arrange a taxi via your computer in the 1980s? In this always amusing series it is Uber’s turn this time to be put in a homecomputer jacket. Complete with delicious 90s voice-over and floppy disks with the program on it.

Every time you see a video like this, you’ll be reminded how slowly everything went at the beginning of the PC era. But also the jokes in between are quite amusing if the time of the dial-up modems is still good for you. Printing out the boarding pass with a dot matrix printer is a genius find, just like the ‘criminal record’ filter prescribed by President Reagan. Enjoy!
