Tesla offers Model S and X buyers unlimited free charging again
Customers who buy a Model S or a Model X from Tesla will have the option of unlimited free charging at Superchargers. Some time ago, Tesla had just abolished this. The new offer does not apply to Model 3 buyers.
Tesla made the news known through a message on Twitter. In the short message, the company says that all new orders for a Model S or a Model X will now offer unlimited free charging. This applies to Tesla’s own Superchargers. It is unclear whether Tesla will accommodate buyers who have recently ordered their new car.
Previously, Tesla also offered free charging via Superchargers for its Model S and Model X. However, the company stopped doing that some time ago. Free charging may be reintroduced to boost Model S and X sales; where the Model 3 sells well, the numbers of the Model S and X lag behind.
