The Walking Dead: The Final Season from Telltale Games is no longer available from Steam, The PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace, and GOG.com. The developer has asked the digital stores to pause sales.

GOG.com’s TWD:TFS page states that Telltale Games has requested that the sale of the episodes and season passes be paused. It is not yet known how long this break will last. GOG.com references the developer’s website and Twitter page for more information. However, Telltale Games has not yet announced a temporary suspension of sales.

On September 24, the developer announced that the second episode would be released the following day. Due to a pause in sales for the entire final season, the episode is now unavailable to new customers. On Friday, September 21, Telltale Games announced it will be closing. Two hundred and fifty employees were laid off the same day.
