Telltale Games has its own game in development

Telltale Games is working on a new project, Kevin Bruner announced during his appointment as the game developer’s new CEO. It is still unclear what kind of content it is and when the game should be released.

Co-founder Bruner will be the new CEO of Telltale Games, Game Industry reports. He immediately disclosed that the game developer has original intellectual property in development. In addition, several partnerships have not yet been announced, according to the report. It is still unclear what direction Telltale Games will take with the new project.

Former CEO Dan Connors will remain with the company in the role of executive advisor. Telltale Games is known for titles such as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. More recently, the studio has focused on Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones. One episode has been released for both series and the other episodes are gradually being rolled out.

Telltale Games and Mojang announced in December that a new Minecraft game is in development. It is a game with a narrative character and the so-called Minecraft: Story Mode will be released in 2015 in several parts for the well-known consoles, Android, iOS, OS X and Windows. A third season of The Walking Dead is also in the pipeline.
